'Life is Simple' card

 

 This card has a very elegant design which almost contradicts but really maintains the statement that 'life is simple'. The hues are gold and blue with off-white pulling it all together.

I made it with DCWV's 'Saffron' foil stamped patterned paper and a metal engraved title block. I cut out the shape of the leaves from metallic textured paper, also DCWV, the 'Metallic Stack'. As usual I used the same cardstock to back the cut out, as I used to create the bulk of the card. In this case the 'Natural Cream' textured cardstock.

Memories from the Past

'Memories From The Past'

 This card was created with some earthy colored patterned paper on 'Natural Cream' colored textured cardstock. The twine, ribbon and sentiment decal give a flash of color but the 'memories' theme is maintained by the aged natural look.
